Position Overview

In-country is a British education management company launched in 2016 and now has a team of more than fifty people across Delhi, Mumbai, Lahore, and the UK. We manage the Asian student recruitment operations for multiple blue-chip international universities and work on creative and exciting projects for many others. Our main office is located in Amar Colony, New Delhi.

In-country is looking to appoint a Conversions Officer to work as part of our dedicated team for our client, Keele University. As a Conversions Officer, you will play a vital role in guiding applicants through their enrollment process. Your primary responsibility will be to engage in conversion-focused outreach, addressing applicants' inquiries, and providing comprehensive guidance to ensure their successful transition to studying in the UK. You will keep students and stakeholders well-informed about academic program requirements, scholarships, enrollment restrictions, and other pertinent issues related to recruiting and admitting students.

Location: In-country University Hub, E-265, Amar Colony, Lajpat Nagar-4, New Delhi – 110024

Travel: Yes, domestic travel within India may be required occasionally

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead conversion-focused outreach initiatives aimed at engaging Keele University applicants, ensuring timely and effective communication that addresses their queries, concerns, and motivations for choosing Keele University, ultimately increasing enrollment rates.

  • Deliver comprehensive and personalised guidance on academic program requirements, enrollment procedures, tuition fees, scholarships, accommodation, and other critical aspects of studying at the University, empowering applicants to make informed decisions.

  • Provide end-to-end support throughout the application journey, including assistance with document collection, understanding admission criteria, meeting application deadlines, and navigating technical processes to ensure a seamless and stress-free experience.

  • Liaise proactively with internal departments and the University’s admissions and academic teams to troubleshoot and resolve applicant concerns, clarify procedural doubts, and streamline the recruitment and enrollment workflow.

  • Maintain meticulous records of all applicant interactions, status updates, and follow-ups using internal CRM or student tracking systems, ensuring data integrity and enabling effective reporting and future outreach strategies.

  • Stay continuously informed about changes and updates to Keele University’s program offerings, entry requirements, and policy shifts, ensuring the most accurate and up-to-date information is communicated to prospective students and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Knowledge of higher education systems, especially related to international students, is a plus.

  • Previous experience in student recruitment or admissions coordination is desirable but not mandatory.
