In-country is a British education management company that was launched in 2016 and now has a team of more than sixty people across Delhi and Mumbai in India, and Lahore in Pakistan. We manage the South Asian student recruitment operations of multiple blue-chip international universities, as well as working on creative and exciting projects for a host of others. Our New Delhi office is located in Amar Colony. 

Main duties and accountabilities:

  • To liaise and support In-Country’s Senior Management team to ensure that the company’s strategy is delivered in full

  • To act alongside the Project Manager at In-country, responsible for the project as the point of contact for our client universities

  • To roll out an In-country strategy to deliver the student recruitment goals for the University, in line with the company’s services to the client universities

  • To attend education exhibitions to meet with potential University applicants and guide them on the University’s courses and entry requirements

  • Supporting the Project Manager with Higher Education market Intel, trend analysis, competitor analysis, opportunities for growth and improvement and giving relevant feedback for informed decision-making

  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with schools, universities, agency partners and other key stakeholders in India

  • Contacting and establishing information sessions and meetings with various school and university counsellors and students to increase brand visibility

  • Establishing and conducting events and sessions for offer holders within India to answer their inquiries in order to support In-Country’s conversion strategy 

  • Conducting market research and providing marketing strategies based on India’s market to the International Recruitment team based in the UK to assist universities in their marketing and communication strategies

Communication and Liaison:

  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with schools, universities, agency partners, and other key stakeholders in India.

  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge about curriculum, admission procedures, and USPs of different universities based in the US, the UK, and Ireland.

  • Supporting the Project Manager with Higher Education market Intel, trend analysis, competitor analysis, opportunities for growth and improvement, and giving relevant feedback for informed decision-making.

  • Undertaking market research and providing market intelligence on the Indian market to the wider international university teams based outside India to support the wider marketing and communications strategy of the universities

  • Identifying and targeting schools across India to increase the brand visibility of the University. Engaging with school counsellors and delivering sessions for students to increase interest in the University’s programmes.

  • Planning and conducting events targeted to offer holders and enquirers to support In-country’s conversion strategy for the university clients

  • Support agents and other key channel partners. providing training sessions to these partners.

  • Working with internal and external data to inspect market and channel pipelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Preferred knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development, etc.)

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • Proficiency in Google Suite.

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
